where possible an indication as to suitability has been added, this does

not mean that it will work for you.

Starting a large scale project around your home is both disruptive and messy,

 no matter where you are, dust, dirt, mud and construction materials will find

 there way everywhere.

Good contractors know how to keep a site clean and tidy, by doing so they make a profit, keep clients happy and prosper.

Good site management is just as important as a good design and a quality finish.

Here we will look at numerous works in progress, after you have had someone working in "your space' for more than a few weeks it can become quite stressful, we always recommend that our clients schedule at least a long week-end away at regular intervals during major construction.

The initial demolition and clearance is always the worst time, as you see

areas that you are familiar with being partly removed and in some cases

totaly demolished.

There is then a period of work when levels, foundations, etc., are established,

not much progress appears to be going on - but it is!

Resist the urge to make changes at this time as they can be very costly.
