A design portfolio stretching back 30 years, with layouts and artists impressions

Designing landscapes is quite a challenge, here we have a collection of

projects designed over the past 30 years which encompass many of the

situations you may have in your own property.

There are some basic rules to designing and many books attempt to try

and show you how to design, they achieve this with varying levels of success.

Simply, unless you have an extraordinarily good eye for detail, nothing can

compare to the skills of a talented designer who is working 5 days a week

or more preparing clients dream gardens.

Here an extremely talented designer is making a final check before

handing the garden over to the client.

In the early days we used dyeline prints (blueprints),copied from laborously

drawn plans on grapgh paper with pen and ink , we then moved up to large photocopies,

still hand drawn, these were copied,  laminated to protect them, and much easier to handle.

Now a days with CAD,GPS and laminators it is even quicker to draw.

Gone are the days of the electric eraser !
